
Baguette tomate mozzarella
So simple and summery, no cooking is required! You can't go wrong with this combination of ripe tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. The flavor of this recipe is proportional to the freshness of the ingredients, so save your best tomatoes for this summer treat!
Ingredients
4 tbsp olive oil and basil
2 tbsp silver-grade balsamic vinegar
Ebro Delta salt
Pepper
From the market
1 baguette
450g mozzarella, cut into 1cm-thick slices
2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
450g mixed salad
Steps
Split the baguette lengthwise. Drizzle each side with olive and basil oil. Arrange the tomatoes on one half of the baguette. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Add a layer of onion and drizzle evenly with the remaining olive and basil oil and balsamic vinegar.
Add the mozzarella and salad mix. Place the baguette on top and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours and cut into thirds or quarters before serving.
