An easy and delicious homemade bread recipe!

1 tbsp. Camargue salt

2 cases. daily olive oil

At the market

35cl of hot water

7g dry yeast

1 tbsp. sugar

340g flour


Preheat the oven to 230°C by placing a cast iron casserole dish inside.

In a bowl, add the yeast and sugar and mix with the hot water.

Add the olive oil and salt, then mix. Add the flour little by little and knead the dough until smooth. Cover it with a cloth and let it rise for at least an hour and a half.

To cook, roll a handful of dough in your hands and cover the outside with flour to prevent it from sticking. Tie a knot by bringing each corner towards the middle. Let the bread cook for 35 minutes in the casserole dish. Remove the lid and continue cooking for 5 minutes or until the top is nicely browned.

Serve with a drizzle of olive oil for a delicious starter or side dish.
